Tips For Buying Cambodian Hair Extensions

By Cynthia Wood

If you would like to change the way you look, you can do this by changing the style of your locks. You can do this by wearing a wig or weave. There are so many types in the market, such that you can get confused about what to buy. Here is some advice about buying Cambodian hair extensions, since superior quality products will last for long.

Decide whether you want to buy synthetic or natural weaves. Natural weaves are made from real locks, so they will just look like your tresses. Synthetic weaves have a silicone finishing which gives them a shiny look. With time or if you use heat on them, the shiny surface will fade. With natural weaves, all the cuticles face in the same direction, making the weave have a smooth and natural look.

The wefts in the weave matter. Check how they have been fixed. In a good weave, each strand has been fixed on its own. It is also advisable that you buy a weave where the strands are not going to fall off. If too many strands fall of the weave, it will leave it looking thin and cheap. Check for this by running your hand through the weave and check if strands are left in it. If there are no strands, then this is a good sign.

The thickness of the weave should be the same. This should be from the bottom of the weave to the top. If it is uneven, then the finished look will not be so good. Also, check that the thickness of the wefts is the same, such that no wefts are thicker than others.

Decide how thick you want the weave to be. For much thickness, you have to purchase more packages than if you wanted a medium thickness. Also, you can check the weight of the weave or how many strands has been fixed in it. This will show you if the weave is thick or not.

Decide how long you want the weave to be. There are long ones and short ones. If you will be planning on cutting and styling the weave, you need to get something longer than you want, so that after it has been cut it will not be so short.

The affordability of the products matter. The natural option costs more than the synthetic option. Generally, if you want a superior product, you must be willing to dig deeper in your pocket. However, product prices vary, so it is good that you look around and choose the option you can afford.

Before you make the decision to go for a weave, you need to make up your mind that this is the best option for you. If you will be willing to put in the work of taking care of it, then this is a good decision. Well taken care of weave look good, making you look stylish and elegant at all times.
