Shield your face from the sun. Regularly apply sunscreen that's boasting of an SPF of not less than 30. This is most especially true if you cannot stay indoors or under the shade during the day. Stay away from facials. For a beauty conscious woman, having her favorite facial treatments on a regular basis is a definite must. Refrain from removing your eyebrows. Approximately one week before your appointment, quit doing or having any facial hair removal. As a result, a completely realistic outcome can be achieved.

Momentarily quit taking fish oil capsules. Your brain, heart and joints can benefit so much from fish oil capsules. Taking them for about 1 week before your treatment, however, should be stopped. It's because fish oil can cause your blood to become runny, and this can leave you bleeding unnecessarily while having the procedure. Because aspirin and vitamin E are blood thinners, too, you should stop taking them as well.

Do not exercise in the morning. It's also recommended that you skip working out. This is done in order to prevent unnecessary bleeding. Likewise, you should refrain from exercising for about a week after the procedure.

Refuse taking any alcoholic beverage. Up to a couple of days before receiving your treatment, it's a good idea to say no to alcohol. That's because it can also cause thinning of your blood. In addition, experts say that the intake of alcohol can lead to unnecessary bruising.

Refrain from having coffee. You also should avoid drinking a cup of coffee. Anything with caffeine in it needs to be dodged as well. Coffee can cause stimulation of the nervous system, thus considerably increasing your perception of pain. You may experience discomfort even after a numbing agent is applied prior to the procedure.
