For Eyelash Extensions Las Vegas Is Worth Visiting

By Shirley Campbell

Eyelash extension is a term used to refer to products used by people to boost the thickness, fullness, length and curliness of their natural eyelashes. There are various materials used to make such products including mink, horse hair and synthetics among others. They are mainly applied using an adhesive whereby every strand of the extension is stuck onto the eyelashes. There are however other methods that may be used. When one needs Eyelash extensions Las Vegas offers the perfect location to visit.

It is worth noting that false eyelashes and eyelash extensions are not the same thing. There are major differences between the two. In history, various people have mentioned the term eyelash extensions with the oldest account dating back to 1879. Others trace back to 1882, 1902 and 1916. These mentions are thought to have occurred in different countries.

These products are in two major types which are semi-permanent eyelash extensions and false eyelashes. All these products are designed to improve the volume and length of eyelashes although they vary in some ways. For example, temporary lash glue is used to apply temporary false lashes. Given the nature used to apply the glue, one cannot wear them when showering, sleeping, or swimming.

Temporary fake lashes are usually sold in the form of lash strips in most cases. However, they can also be found in form of clusters and individual strands. An American lady has invented another form of temporary lashes that is magnetic in nature. This product was invented in 20016 and is applied by placing the false lashes between natural eyelashes.

An adhesive is used to apply semi-permanent lashes. This product can also be referred to as individual eyelash extension. Cyanoacrylate is the most commonly used adhesive and it comes in different types including butyl, methyl and octyl. The adhesive is made such that it can bond onto a number of surfaces. It needs to be applied carefully to avoid the adhesive or the eyelashes coming into contact with the eyelid which leads to irritation.

The price of eyelash extension can range from 100 to 500 dollars in the US. Various factors like the venue or location, skill level of the cosmetician, and the number and type of eye lashes that should be applied determine the price. These services are expensive in some cosmetic establishments and salons that offer them. It is expensive because they have the best cosmeticians, offer top-notch services, and have many customers.

The time the process takes depends with the number of individual lashes to be installed. A person normally has around 100 to 200 lashes. It may take around 1 to 3 hours for the installation of all these lashes to be completed. The number of lashes to be installed is determined by the number of natural lashes an individual has.

Normally a person loses eyelashes daily. This is to mean that fake lashes are also lost on a daily basis. For this reason, they are able to last for around 3 to 4 weeks after which they begin to fall off or thin. It is recommended to refill these lashes after every 2 to 3 weeks or have them replaced after every 4 weeks in order to keep a full set of lashes.
