Reasons Why You Should Use Plant Based Acne Cream

By Brenda Russell

Animal-based products are made with very harsh chemicals. Not to mention the cruelty involved in the production process. They leave the skin dry and flaky. One will experience an itch. The breakouts will keep recurring because the root was not really addressed. A plant based acne cream is a better more preferable option. These are kind and polite. They are natural and offer a more wholesome solution to breakouts.

Tea tree oil is one of the most common elements to use. It is native to Australia but has gained popularity in the world over. The oil combats breakouts by two efficient mechanisms. The element is a natural antiseptic and speeds the healing process. This is very potent and should be diluted before use as a topical. An oil base is best if one is making a topical at home.

This is a little out there but oatmeal makes for a great face mask. It can also be used in a homemade topical. For the face mask, just cook it as usual until it is a paste. One may even scoop up a little from the breakfast batch, no harm in it. Drop in some honey and/or olive oil then apply on the face generously. Let it sit for about twenty minutes then wash it off. It is an exfoliant and moisturizer all in one.

Olive oil is a very popular ingredient for recipes. It has a way of oiling the skin without leaving it too oily. It does not clog the pores as do many other oils as it is natural. It can be used as a topical. Massage it onto the face, leave it on for a bit then clean it off with a steamed towel. It makes for a good base when making CBD homemade topicals. CBD is a cannabis cannabinoid known for its efficacy as a party in the skin care regimen.

Put some rose petals in water and let it sit. Once fully infused, dab the water on the face with cotton wool or spritz it on. Before one applies treatment for breakouts, this would be a good way to clean out the face. On a regular day, just use before the cleanser. It lays the field pretty well. Rose water tonic is simple to use and even simple to make.

Phenolic elements contain saturated fats. These are the good kind of fats. They do not get stuck in pores thus trapping toxins under the skin. They are natural and o won toxicity. They contain antioxidants. This property is necessary to fight oxidative stress. In some cases, the endogenous mechanisms to fight this may prove insufficient to appropriately mitigate oxidative stress.

When a foreign party invades the body, the immune system reacts by triggering an inflammatory reaction. This reaction while necessary also causes redness and swelling. Phenols have anti-inflammatory properties that keep the swelling and redness at bay. Free radicals are neutralized and the skin is able to breathe a little bit.

To cap it all, vegan products have natural antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties. The breakouts will most probably be caused by bacteria and germs. Steps need to be taken to keep the skin clear of these as much as possible. It increases the chance of healing and prevents future breakouts.
