Ways To Improve Your Motor Control

By Charles Long

Motorized skill is an ability to cause a movement that is predetermined outcome with the maximum certainty. This is a relatively and permanent change in a persons ability to perform a skill as a result for their experiences and practices. Performance is an act of performing a motor skill. The goals of motors skills are to optimize the ability and to perform the skill of an individual at the rate of success, precision and reduce the energy consumption required for perming an action. When it concerns with motor control continuing education, every individual should learn coordination with their muscles.

Gross motor skills require the uses of large muscles to perform wide variety of tasks such as walking, crawling and balancing. The skill required is not extensive and associated with continuous tasks. The skill will develop in their early childhood. This can be categorized into two subgroups that are loco motor and object control.

Gross to specific is a pattern which large muscle develops much earlier before finer movements. For instance, the child will only pick up large objects than picking up an object that is small between the fingers and thumbs. The earlier movements involve larger groups of muscles but as soon as they grow, finer movements become possible and any things can be achieved.

It is important to gather much information to learn more things before anything else. A person can acquire lots of information from other people. They can ask some recommendation from their loved ones and friends to understand much better about the whole skills.

Hand and eye coordination is important. Use scissors to cut. Using the scissors is a good exercise for constructing the fundamentals of hand and eye combination. Start by cutting down the papers with making any designs and then create lines to proceed. Start with the basics of straight lines then waves to zigzags. If you are having some difficulty, begin by cutting the straws which is easy to be cut.

Using the clothes pin to pick up things on the floor. Working with a clothespin would progress hand dexterity and firming your grasp. Picking up tassels and moving them with a clothespin from a pile to transfer into another. Use the pins to hang various things in the line. If the pins are hard for you, try tweezers first. They will require a lot more focus but are relatively easy to squeeze.

There are three different stage of motor learning which is cognitive phase, associative phase and autonomous phase. The cognitive phase is when the learner is fresh to a new task and the primary though is always what needs to be done on it. Considerable cognitive ability is being required for the learner to determine the appropriate strategies to reflect the goal.

Influences like vigilance have the same effect as fatigue. However, it is being caused by lack of arousal. Some tasks use actions that require high attention and little work. The gender influence plays and important role in the development of a child. Boys mainly focus on object manipulation while girls focus on stationary visual motorized skills.

Growth development makes the individuals body increase in size and parts as they progress towards maturity. The maturation refers to qualitative change that enables one to progress to high levels of functioning. In the childhood stages of development, gender differences can greatly influence motor skills.
