The decreasing or slowing down of the blood flow can be a dangerous situation. The danger stems from either the clogging or blockage of arteries. This can result in some serious conditions such as coronary disease and or a stroke. The stroke is formed by the plaque breaking off and clots being formed as a result. Absolute blockage of the arteries is the last thing that should in the arteries.

The first thing you need to do in order to avert this situation is to get your cholesterol checked. This is not difficult and should not be a tedious procedure. It is done by running a blood test. The results are produced like so: LDL entails bad cholesterol levels while HDL entails good cholesterol levels. If you need further clarification, contact your general practitioner.

You can start off easy and work your way up. You could even start by taking a walk for a couple of minutes in a day. Then once you have gotten used to it, get with a trainer to address those problem areas.

One of the tricky aspects of this condition is the fact that symptoms dont become apparent until significant damage has been caused.
